[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9)]Role Overview [color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9)]The Accounts Payable Officer will report to the Finance Manager directly and be responsible for ensuring all bills are paid in an efficient and timely manner, answering incoming inquiries, providing administrative and clerical support by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, monitoring expenses, and keeping a record of it all for tax purposes.
[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9)]The Duties - Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Executing invoice auditing and approval
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain finance records
- Paying external parties by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit
- Responding to all enquiries regarding finance
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
- Continuing to improve the payment process
[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9)]About You - Degree holder in Accounting/ Finance/ Business or relevant disciplines
- Bilingual in English & Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
- Previous experience in customer-facing role is essential
- Ideally 1-3 years experiences working in similar roles
- Detail-oriented team player with excellent time-management, communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
